When deprived of flavourful sustenance, the mouth will often go on strike by revealing your darkest secret at round-the-table conversations. Placate an unruly tongue with today’s Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of Japanese food and drinks at Bishamon Sapporo Ramen.
Bishamon is a cozy ramen eatery that prides itself on broth that is lovingly prepared Sapporo-style, and can either be chicken- or pork-based. Left to brew for about eight hours, it has a lighter taste than typical pork-based broths. Tuck into a Special Miso Ramen ($13.50), which comes with a comforting combination of chashu (sliced meat) and a soft-boiled egg, or take up the challenge of a Japanese Katsu Curry Rice ($12) if the appetite allows.
Bishamon’s Ramen maintains the original flavours from Japan and is among the top few in Hokkaido. With its presence on our local shores, customers get more than a taste and whiff of the famous Japanese dish in all its authentic glory.
11.30am - 10.00pm (Last order at 9.30pm)
“Let me introduce the Special Miso Ramen from Sapporo Ramen Bishamon! On their menu, they gave it 3 chef recommendations and it indeed lives up to the expectation. Starting from basic, their base soup is already very tasty. Piled it on with a huge slab of pork and fresh corn, you really can't ask for more. The unique mix of ingredients is really fantastic! There is one thing in this dish that really surprises me. Have you ever seen a hard-boiled egg with runny egg white and egg yolk? I really don't know how they did it but I saw it today for the first time in my life. Quite a good experience overall.” – Azure, Yebber Review
“Ah, another Sapporo ramen joint. I'd heard good stuff about them. And we weren't disappointed. I liked the spicy miso ramen (S$12) I had. Nicely savoury without being overpowering or overly spicy. The char siew slices are very thick but amazingly, they were so tender, they just melted in your mouth.” – Camemberu Review
