If that’s not enough, fill up stomachs with the no less tasty biryani dishes, such as egg briyani ($7.50), prawn briyani ($11) or the all inclusive Taste of India Briyani, a mouth-watering melange of basmati rice cooked with fresh vegetables, saffron, lamb. chicken, shrimp, seasoned with fresh ground spices, and topped with toasted nuts and raisins. A plethora of desserts such as Gulab Jamun (fried cheeseballs dipped in honey syrup, $3), and traditional beverages (think thick, yoghurty mango lessi, $4.50) help end the meal off on a cooling, sweet note.
