Living alone does not mean having to capture friendly residential pigeons for weeks of solitary TV dinners. Bask in the warmth of delicious and guilt-free food with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of food and beverage at Woody Family Café.
Snugly tucked along Sembawang is the Woody Family Café where the amiable couple, Sam and Jenny, dish out heartwarming Perankan-fusion cuisine within a cosy dining setting. Prepared with a generous dose of love for food, the signature dishes are created to whip up memories of home-cooked food. The Lamb Shank Rendang ($20.90) is perfect for those who like a dash of spicy fragrance, Guinness stout and brandy with their meat and bones. The Pork Knuckles Garam Assam ($17.90) is another favorite with those who like a flame of tanginess in their food. Impress everybody else with your stomach of steel by ordering the Devil’s Curry Chicken ($17.90). A Woody's specialty, the chicken is cooked with Woody’s special curry spices, chicken hot dogs, green papaya, gourds, potatoes, and carrots but without coconut milk. The Spicy Peranakan Buffalo Wings ($14.90 for half dozen or $23.90 for a dozen) must be visible on the receipt after a satiating meal as it is akin to not trying a plate of chicken rice when in Singapore. The exotic Asian spice adds to the sauciness of these tantalizing wings, leaving a permanent imprint on one's tastebuds.
Instead of leaving a trail of crumbs for the poor pigeons, leave a series of oily and satisfactory fingerprints on today's Groupon after tucking into a plate of delicious Peranakan-fusion cuisine.

Reviews:
"We frequent the Café as we enjoy the ambience. After a long day at the office, it is a relaxing place unlike the hustle & bustle of some of the other outlets in the neighbourhood which are either noisy coffee shops or drinking “joints” Woody is more conducive to conversation. It is family oriented and blends well with the estate." - Verghese Mathews
"Food is what that attracts me and my girlfriend as Woody has unique specialities and I can safely say that even though Woody is out of the way and due to its wonderful ambience, we will still come for the food as we know that the owner has meticulously prepare the food and ensure we get satisfaction and will return back for more." - Tan Yiun Siang & Mabel Feng
