Rooted at the fourth level of Beauty World Shopping Centre which is known to be the ION of our parents’ time, the Dulukala Peranakan Restaurant is an 11 years old food establishment revered by fans of Peranakan cuisine. It’s a family run affair in the kitchen with none of the superfluous attention paid to the décor.

The only ornaments you may encounter are the local celebrities who have come to seek anonymity and of course, swell Peranakan food. The owner firmly believes that tummy-satisfying food is the important issue at hand. The Beef Rendang ($9) is simmered in thick coconut gravy and be prepared to pig out when the plate of Babi Pongteh ($7.50) is served.
