I have swollen and inflammed gums and one part of my gum was even detached from the tooth. It scares me initially. All these gum conditions happen despite me brushing with special toothpaste, flossing and using mouthwash religiously. After using the oral irrigator for about 1 month, I noticed that my gums were no longer that swollen and inflamed and the gum pockets seemed to have improved by at least 50%! My gums have turned a healthy pink on the whole. There's still a small part of my gum which is still inflamed but it has improved significantly.
