$25 for $50 Worth of Food and Drink at Yoyogi Japanese Restaurant

A small, cosy restaurant right by the Singapore River, Yoyogi's chefs include the owner, well-recognised and established celebrity chef Edwin Tan, who surprises his diners each time with items ranging from the exotic such as barbequed fugu (puffer fish) to familiar handrolls all made fresh and with finesse. Yet these are no surprises in an omakase restaurant, different from a la carte- where the chef will generally present a series of plates he has specially selected.

Yoyogi's set lunches range from $15++ to $58++ while course lunch or dinner range from $80++ to $200++. A sushi course dinner for example would include an appetizer, assorted raw fish, steamed egg custard with goose liver, assorted sushi, steamed tuna soup and green tea ice cream as dessert.

Of course, those of timid strength may rely on the regular a la carte menu that will equally satisfy one's craving.
