Founded by unapologetically passionate baker, Edna (a.k.a Fat Lady), the boutique bakery brings cakes that are irreverent, indulgent, baked to perfection and without pretense, and topped with sprinkles of sugar, (not necessarily spice), and everything nice. Signature best sellers include the Sticky Date Pudding, Rich Chocolate Cake and Red Velvet Cake ($25 to $130). Stepping into the whimsical My Fat Lady is almost like entering Willa Wonka's Factory and seeing an indulgent world of Oompa Loompas and their magical creations.

The Sticky Date Pudding is a caramelized confection of dates and aromatics topped with either vanilla cream cheese frosting or accompanied by sea-salt caramel sauce. Chocoholics will find themselves in Paradise with the Rich Chocolate Cake, a buttery pound cake generously covered with chocolate ganache, while the Red Velvet Cake with its heavy dose of raspberries coated with real fruit juice will win the hearts of health junkies who decide to be in denial for a day.

Watching “muffintops” is not the business of My Fat Lady. Since 2009, Edna has been whipping her boutique bakery kitchen to shape with customised birthday, wedding and festive orders (from $50). Customers can also opt for their cakes to arrive promptly at their doorstep via home delivery.
