This course unapologetically discriminates against child laborers and persons born with cement feet. But if you're over the age of 12 and have basic swim skills, splash out and leave the office early for two theory 'meetings' on buoyancy and underwater breathing. Refuse to work on the Sunday of your choice and get clothed in a temporary wardrobe of flotation device, breathing apparatus, air tank, mask and and fins. Your only job is to hover on a pool bottom like a pearl diver or abalone fisherman, letting you try a career switch under safe supervision and secrecy.
The course doesn't include a dive in the open waters. But you can opt for an additional trip with Amazing Dive in order to complete your course and receive Open Water Dive certification. Dart among curious fish and swaying vegetation. Forget the visit to the wet market beforehand, because you may just come back with dinner.
