Drawing his roots from the blues-rock era, he has evolved to become a world class Jazz player and composer. Indra Lesmana has to date over 150 original compositions, 43 albums and more than 70 record album productions in pop, contemporary, mainstream, swing and nu-jazz music. An outstanding Indonesian artist in his own right, he has won several awards and is considered one of the most important recording artists in his country. As for Boy Katindig, his independent Jazz label, Kool Kat Productions, and several solo concerts in Malaysia, USA and the Philippines bear testimony to the musical talent that he is.
