Reviews
Hot Spot Cafe & Restaurant was featured on 'Where the Queue Starts' on Mediacorp Channel 8.I ordered the Fried Fish Tom Yam Soup (thick Beehoon). In it, there were fried fish, toufu, tomato, onion, vegetables and a piece of lime. In fact, there were several pieces of fried fish, more than what I expected whereas there was a lack of vegetables. The fish was fresh. It would be good to let it (the fish) stay in the soup a while longer to absorb more of the tom yam soup. The tom yam soup was tasty, sour and yet spicy. Delicious! Would be great to eat this when the weather is cold/cool."
- FooediefcThe taste of tom yam broth was certainly unexpected, the aroma of the lime, lemon grass, the taste of spice, sourness and freshness of the seafood with slight touch up to the taste to make a bit of their own style, it was simply awesome, tasted better than what I was expecting, better than some of the top Thai restaurants. Simply Yammuylicious...Sliced fish soup.Thick cuts of sliced fish was very fresh with veges with milk added ,soup was very good, very tasty...The Yong Tau Fu stuff were all very fresh, the fried stuff were refried upon selection...All the items I had here were more than satisfactory above average. The Tom Yam Soup is a worth the trip. This is a very Hot Spot indeed."
