 The appetiser was a delicious start to the main course, comprising of servings of jelly fish, spiced cucumber and chilled whole abalone (flown in specially from South Africa, with delightful bite), each a spoonful of unique and exciting flavours. The kelp seaweed soup is a nutritious stock and a superb primer for the star of the menu, the BBQ Peking Duck accompanied with Three Special Sauces.

While the cuisine at Old Hong Kong Legend isn't what you would consider to be groundbreaking or earth-shatteirng, it is nevertheless excellent traditional Cantonese fare that is warm and comforting and about as authentic you can get without actually flying off to Hong Kong and having a congee breakfast at Tsim Sha Tsui."
