The Deal

Live and breathe the DJ culture at Pop Trash, a boutique DJ school that celebrates that which is cool in music, fashion and art. Under the tutelage of established DJs Brendon P and Kenneth Francis, aspiring spinners get a hands-on experience in the art of DJing during each 2-hour session, stepping up to turntables, cjd's and digital mixing with controllers to practice basic timing techniques on hardware normally used by professional music acts.

Instructors bring to the decks over 20 years' of professional DJing expertise in the local and international clubbing scene, including stints at Zouk and Ministry of Sound, as they impart basic beat and bar matching skills and encourage students to hone skills in music selection.

Get exposed to various genres of clubbing music from these industry veterans including Break Beats, Latin and Afro House, Rare Grooves, Electronica and more as you try your hand at track-spinning to an imaginary adoring crowd while interacting with fellow music tastemakers.
