This AKB concept café – one of its kind in the world - is a homage to the craze-inducing, insanely popular Japanese girl band that comprises, amazingly enough, 48 members.

Step into a world – made to look like an Akihabara theatre - where poppy tunes and music videos play softly in the background and colorful band memorabilia dot the walls, temporarily sating even the most rabid fan.

Experiential dining experience aside, the café serves excellent modern Japanese fusion cuisine and desserts.

Fuel the excitement with hearty fare such as Carbonara pasta and the unique Japone Pasta; or go traditional with Omu Rice (fried rice wrapped in an omelette), and Japanese Beef Curry Rice. 

Sweeten the experience with either photos taken with autographed posters of the band members lining the walls, or the possibility of perhaps meeting one of them during a “surprise visit”, or simply by indulging in the hefty dessert list of pancakes, waffles, and parfaits.

“One of the top selling favorites is the Omu Curry Rice. It is the perfect hearty dish on a brisk day. The omelette wrap was perfectly cooked and yummy runny egg at the side went well with the hot tomato rice inside. At $14.90, the omu rice was smothered with delicious beef curry was not too heavy nor greasy, with thick beef chunks. Japone Pasta ($15.90) is cooked with several kinds of mushrooms including juicy portobello. The pasta was cooked with very light olive oil and seasoned with Japanese soy sauce.
