Deal Attractions

As one of the most scenic destinations in China, Guilin and its surrounding cities have achieved cult-like status with travelers, tourists and even Star Wars fans – the mountain backdrop of Yangshuo even made it to Star Wars Episode 3.

Guilin itself is surrounded by two rivers and four lakes, encircled by sheer karst mountains. Wake up to the sight of mist-shrouded hill-tops that were the inspiration for Chinese poets of old, and visit attractions (included in the tour) such as the Elephant Trunk Hill which looks exactly like it sounds and the Reed Flute Cave, a limestone cave with impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.

Trips to Lipu and Yangshuo counties steep you into sleepy province life, but civilization is never far away – the cries of touts and shop-keepers that line the narrow streets beckon wallet contents and appeal to the souvenir hoarder in you.
