Trichotillomaniacs – people who suffer from strong urges to pull out their own hair – are often found working in the kitchens of Chinese restaurants, vehemently pulling noodles as a therapeutic substitute. Enjoy the savory fruits of maniacal labor with today’s Groupon: for $8.80, you get 2 bowls of Ramen at Koo Kee Dumpling & Ramen House (worth $17.60).
Professional pullers of Asian pasta at Koo Kee use fresh and natural ingredients, combined with hand techniques that originated from Northern China, to produce the smooth, chewy handmade noodles. In the cozy, warm setting of the restaurant located in Marine Parade, noodle nuts can choose from six ramen dishes, each with its own distinctive Chinese flavor. Pick from ramen served in the signature Double Boiled Ginseng Chicken Soup, Spicy Seafood Soup, Pork Ribs, Minced Pork & Shrimp Wanton, Five Spices Beef, and Minced Pork with Mushroom in Spicy Sauce.
If a bowl of ramen isn’t enough for devouring diners, choose from other signature dishes on their menu, such as the delectable Roasted Crispy Chicken with Homemade Sauce ($11.80 or $22). Koo Kee Dumpling & Ramen House is one place where you can enjoy the hair-raisingly tasty dishes without fear of follicular attacks from rampant noodle chefs.

“Ramen with Double
Boiled Ginseng Chicken Soup. And I wasn't disappointed at all. The soup tasted great, with a strong, but not
over-powering taste of ginseng and herbs. The chicken was smaller than I
remembered, but there were also pieces of pork in the soup, probably to give it
a meatier "oomph". The noodles were great too, not too thick, and
cooked just right. After I finished my noodles, I continued drinking the
delicious soup. Two-in-one! A good bowl of noodles, finished with ginseng
“Overall, the food should be well liked by chinese because it is not too oily and healthy. There are quite a number of dishes on the menu I bet any locals will be spoilt for choices here. I can see that the noodles were quite good and which they make on site and fresh.” - Jasmine, The Yummy Guide User
