Lee Do Restaurant began as a coffee shop in 1964 and has since been enlightening palates with flavourful bites of authentic Fuzhou cuisine that hails from China’s vibrant Fujian province. The restaurant, now under the snug wing of second-generation proprietors, stays true to its roots with casual interiors where patrons feast on dishes crafted from family recipes. Their specialty cold crab comes oozing with moist yellow roe that is simply to-die-for. Other notable dishes include chicken in red wine, crispy roast duck, Fuzhou fishball soup, prawn rolls, steamed white cabbage, steamed Ikan Kurau fish head / tail topped with their secret bean paste recipe and lastly, honey pork ribs where the meat literally melts off the bone. For dessert, one cannot miss their own homemade yam paste.
