What You'll Get
Children are the love and joy of many families, and this is why the Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) Singapore, an independently administered charity, embarked on a simple mission to directly improve the health and well-being of children in Singapore.
On top of medical grants that have helped more than 900 needy and ill children, RMHC Singapore also believes that the love and support of the family can be as powerful as the strongest medicine.
The Ronald McDonald House™ (RMH), located in the National University Hospital (NUH) and established in partnership with the Paediatric Cluster of NUH (also known as NUHkids), provides a “home-away-from-home” for families to stay close to their hospitalised child at no cost.
Since its opening in January 2013, RMH@NUH has taken care of more than 170 families whose children were in intensive care, with cancer, trauma or undergoing organ transplants.
Managed by Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) Singapore, RMH@NUH’s operations and programmes are funded through the support of donations from general public and well-wishers in Singapore.

About Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) and RMH@NUH
Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) Singapore is an independently administered charity incepted in 1989 on a simple mission – to directly improve the health and well-being of children in Singapore. In January 2013, the charity started a Ronald McDonald House™ (RMH) inside National University Hospital (NUH) to provide a “home-away-from-home” for families to stay close to their hospitalised child. In the past, RMHC Singapore has helped more than 900 needy children in Singapore with their medical, surgical and rehabilitative treatment cost amounting to over S$5 million in grants.
RMHC Singapore funds its operations through the support of donations from the general public and well-wishers in Singapore through various fundraisers and steady stream of collection from the RMHC donation boxes that are placed at all McDonald’s restaurants nationwide. Being one of the major corporate mission partners of the charity, McDonald’s also contributes 5 cents from every sale of its McDonald’s Happy Meals to the charity.
